Lot-et-Garonne: at the Mellet campsite, the smile and the conviviality still there despite the crisis

In the heart of the countryside of the agglomeration of Agen, a haven of peace extending over 4 hectares is preparing for a season like no other. A "season at a loss" that does not make the Guibert family lose their smile ...

Some ducks frolic near the "Mellet". This stream which crosses this "family and comfortable" campsite installed for several decades in the town of Saint-Hilaire de Lusignan. A couple, who had arrived from Brittany the previous evening, woke up quietly enjoying an early morning coffee in the calm of the green countryside.

Sophie Guibert, for her part, does not have a second of her own. At the head of this tourist structure for eight years with her husband Franck, she has no shortage of occupation. "We are preparing for the season even if the campsite has reopened since the beginning of June," says the manager. However, this opening is nothing like the previous ones. The wooden tables located near the snack remain empty for the time being, as are the table footballs or the ping-pong table located under a sort of covered playground. "The first customers arrived yesterday (Editor's note: Friday) with the return of good weather", slides with a big positive smile the manager of this site Lot-et-Garonnais located in a relaxing and entertaining countryside
